Job Summary Georgica Auto Holdings is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. This role involves acting as the primary point of contact for service customers, translating their vehicle concerns into actionable repair orders, and ensuring a seamless and positive service experience. Job Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a friendly and trusting rapport. Listen attentively to customer concerns regarding their vehicle's performance or issues, asking clarifying questions to fully understand the problem. Perform initial vehicle walk-arounds to identify visible damage or concerns and document findings. Clearly explain recommended services, repairs, and associated costs to customers, providing options and answering any questions they may have. Prepare accurate and detailed repair orders, ensuring all customer requests and vehicle information are correctly captured. Communicate regularly with customers regarding the status of their vehicle repairs, providing updates and informing them of any additional necessary work. Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs. Process payments, generate invoices, and explain warranty coverage or service contracts. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, seeking to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized service drive and office area. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred. Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry. Strong understanding of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills. Ability to explain technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical individuals. Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction. Proficiency in using automotive service software and computer systems. Valid 'driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
