Data Entry Clerk
Full time hours, Mon-Fri Day shift, $17.50-$20.00/hr DOE
Responsibilities of Data Entry Clerk:
- Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information and establish entry priorities
- Use a keyboard to enter alphabetic, numeric, and/or symbolic data into the computer
- Perform repetitive, production-oriented work. Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
- Verify accuracy of customer account data entered by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering
- Purge files to eliminate duplication of data
- Review data for deficiencies, resolve deficiencies using standard procedures, and return incomplete documents to the appropriate staff for resolution
- Keep records of completed work
Requirements of Data Entry Clerk:
- Previous office experience
- Skilled in computer, MS Office use
- Attention to detail
