Under the supervision of the Assistant DirectorRecreational Programs and Facility Operations, the Intermittent Frontline Services AssistantPEAC is responsible for setting the tone for the member experience by maintaining a welcoming, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment in the PEAC.
Intermittent Frontline Services Assistants must behave with integrity while accurately and efficiently performing the functions of the job. The role is responsible for equipment check-out, equipment reservations, check-in for fitness class reservations, lost & found, towel service sales, towel exchange, towel laundry duties, sales transactions for various resale items, tracking and processing late & damaged equipment, and performing customer service functions at the PEAC. The Intermittent Frontline Assistant handles a high volume of customers and is expected to be a resource for recreational programs and have a comprehensive knowledge about the facility. As the face of the PEAC, the frontline staff is the information and access hub and the team's behavior, confidence, and professionalism set member's expectations for their experience with Recreational Sports and ASI Programs.
This position is based at the Cal Poly Maritime Academy on the Cal Poly Solano Campus in Vallejo, CA.
