Forklift Operator (Sit‐Down) – First Shift

Pay: $19–$21 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift
Environment: Outdoor yard + metal fabrication facility (80% outside)

Job Summary

We’re hiring a First Shift Sit‐Down Forklift Operator to support daily material handling in a busy metal fabrication production environment. This role is primarily outdoors in the company’s yard and requires a safety‐driven, reliable operator with proven forklift experience.

What You’ll Do

• Operate a sit‐down forklift to move, load, and unload materials
• Work outdoors for most of the shift in the yard area
• Support production by staging materials and maintaining organized inventory flow
• Follow all safety rules, equipment procedures, and facility guidelines
• Assist with general labor tasks as needed
• Communicate with supervisors and production teams to ensure accurate material movement

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of sit‐down forklift experience (required)
• Strong safety mindset and consistent safe operating habits
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain strong attendance
• Comfortable working outdoors and in a metal fabrication production facility
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Team‐oriented with good communication skills

Pay & Benefits

• $19–$21 per hour , depending on experience
