Patient Care Technician - Outpatient Dialysis
Lehi, UT

Schedule Overview: PCTs at Traverse Point will work a Mon/Wed/Fri schedule as this clinic does not operate on Tue/Thu/Sat. This particular need is for 30 hours/week, however if a PCT would like more hours they may pick up shifts at other nearby facilities in American Fork, Orem, and Salem.


Opening shifts begin as early as 4:15am, and closing shifts end as late as 9pm. The incoming PCT will work a mix of opening and closing shifts, which are scheduled in advance. Shifts range from 6-14 hours long.


DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
