Our mission has always been to deliver excellent medical care with compassion.PMG's Comprehensive Benefit Plan:Personal medical and dental insurance401k and profit-sharing planLife insurance3 weeks' vacation time40 hours of paid sick leaveEmployee Assistance ProgramPharmacy Technician – IV Compounding and DispensingPrepare, compound, and dispense medications, including chemotherapy and biotherapy, as directed by the manager of infusion operations.Review prescriptions for accuracy and suitability.Completion of patient paperwork/authorizations related to patient, including authorizations for coverage of medical benefits as necessary; submit appeals as necessary.Follow and maintain procedures for missing, packaging, or labeling pharmaceuticals, according to policy and legal requirements, to ensure quality, security, and proper disposal under the direction of the Pharmacists/Department Leadership.Perform accurate mathematical calculations and medication measurements for compounding and preparation. Process prescriptions through the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, including patient checkout, HIPAA signature collection, payment posting, and reconciliation. Maintain any necessary Quality Assurance logs, including (but not limited to) cleaning logs, temperature logs, waste logs, expired and destroyed medication logs, and others.Order supplies and medication, receive and restock medications, and conduct routine medication inventories via Nucleus.Perform daily/weekly cleaning of dispensing room and equipment as required per PMG's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Compare and verify insurance coverage between Medical and Pharmacy benefits for financial analysis. Reconcile MID medications to Nucleus patient medication reports.Communicating with the physician regarding Rx approval and filling update.Be able to direct patients and refer prescription to their best coverage by using Medical or Pharmacy benefit to help offering the best care.Following up with patients regarding prescription updates and pickup.Other duties as assigned by management.
