Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OTR) in an educational setting near Saint Peter, MN, you’ll collaborate with educators and families across two school sites, impacting approximately 40 students with diverse needs.

Your expertise will be key in promoting independence, academic achievement, and participation for students, all within a supportive, forward-thinking environment. This contract role spans the full 2025-2026 school year, giving you the chance to build meaningful relationships and witness real progress in your caseload.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Active OTR certification and state licensure (or eligibility)
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric environment is highly valued
• Solid understanding of IEP process and best practices in educational OT
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working with K-12 populations and managing a dynamic caseload

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess student needs and develop individualized OT plans within the school setting
• Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated support
• Provide direct therapy to students in both individual and group formats across two schools
• Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to address fine motor, sensory, self-care, and classroom participation goals
