As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Associate in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, loading, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and delivery traffic, verifying authorized access and helping to follow visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle processing procedures.
- Support loss prevention and operational awareness by reporting damaged doors, unsecured areas, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
