ProDrivers is currently hiring experienced CDL A Yard Drivers for a great opportunity with Maersk in Philadelphia, PA 19114 . This position offers steady hours, weekly pay, overtime opportunities, and daily home time. Drivers will operate an Ottawa yard truck moving dry van trailers and containers throughout the yard in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Pay & Schedule

• $26.00 per hour
• Overtime paid after 40 hours
• Weekly pay
• Home daily

Available Shifts

Day Shift

• Sunday-Wednesday
• 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Day Shift

• Wednesday-Saturday
• 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Night Shift

• Monday-Thursday
• 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM

Mandatory overtime during peak season (October-January)

Job Responsibilities

• Operate an Ottawa yard truck safely and efficiently
• Move dry van trailers and containers throughout the yard
• Complete approximately 30+ trailer moves per shift
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and yard safety inspections
• Spot, stage, and reposition trailers as directed
• Maintain accurate inspection and equipment documentation
• Follow all DOT, company, and customer safety procedures
• Work closely with warehouse and transportation personnel

• Yard Movements and Trailer Spotting

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years
• Yard driver, yard jockey, hostler, switcher, or yard truck experience preferred
• Experience moving trailers in a yard environment is a plus
• Ability to safely operate yard equipment and perform trailer spotting activities
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to pass all required pre-employment screenings
• Strong safety record and professional attitude
• Ability to work overtime during peak season as required

• 12 months of verifiable CDL A tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years
• Yard switching, hostler, yard jockey, or Ottawa yard truck experience preferred
• Experience must be verified
• Current DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain
• Acceptable MVR and accident history
• Stable work history
