Caregiver / Personal Attendant / Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Pay: $18.50 per hour Hiring Bonus: $600 ( $200 after the first full week working with clients and $400 after completion of 90 days ) Location: Berkeley, CA We are hiring for both full‑time and part‑time positions. Thrive Support Services, Inc. is looking for a dedicated Caregiver / Personal Attendant to provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, empowering them through daily tasks and fostering independence. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, meal planning and preparation, medication administration and community outings. Perform light housekeeping duties. Provide hands‑on care including bathing, dressing and toileting support. Lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility. Qualifications At least one year experience as a caregiver or in‑home aide, preferably with adults having developmental disabilities. High level of accountability and dependability. Valid California Driver License and reliable vehicle. Pass DOJ fingerprinting/background check. Hold CPR/First Aid certification. Have TB test result.
