R&D Engineer

Job Title: Research & Development Engineer Location: Sacramento, California Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 The Role We are seeking an experienced Research & Development Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to lead innovative product development projects from concept through to production, working on design, testing, analysis, and manufacturing support in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Day to Day Lead product development projects from concept through testing and production. Develop innovative engineering solutions to meet project objectives. Create and manage project schedules, test plans, and technical documentation. Conduct engineering analysis, product testing, and failure investigations. Support prototype development, manufacturing implementation, and continuous product improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of Research & Development experience. Experience managing engineering projects. Strong knowledge of fabrication methods, materials, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor) and Microsoft Office. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills. Desirable FEA and LS-DYNA experience. Master's degree or PhD.
