Anesthesiology Physician

Locums - Waterloo, Iowa, Anesthesiology (IMLC Accepted)

Start Date: June 29, 2026 - Ongoing Assignment Type: Full-Time Locums (Client will accept 2 weeks/month availability)

• Weekdays: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Weekend Coverage: Call only (1st, 2nd, 3rd call; 1st call called in 75% of the time)
• Night Call: Every 3-4 days, 7 days/week
• Clinic: None
• Required Coverage Weeks (Monday-Friday):
  • June 29
  • July 6, 13, 20
  • August 17, 24, 31
  • September 1
  • October 1
  • November 9, 23
  • December 14, 21 , 27

• Evaluate and monitor patient care before and during surgery
• OB: Yes (includes TOLAC)
• Peds: Yes, mostly tonsils and adenoids
• Supervision: Some required
• Group Composition: 6 physicians, 2 CRNAs
• OR Rooms: 13 per provider
• Department Volume: 30-50 cases per day
• EMR: Epic (May 2025)
• Procedures:
  • General Anesthesia (OB and healthy peds)
  • Conscious Sedation
  • No cardiac or neurosurgery

• Board Certified Anesthesiologist - Required (No BE accepted)
• State License: Iowa required OR IMLC accepted ( LOQ upload required )
• ACLS - Required (can be obtained during credentialing)
• Availability: Minimum 2 weeks per month ( Required )
• Must be available for weeks of November 23 & December 21 - Required
