Job Description
Seeking a CAD design professional to create accurate 2D and 3D drawings for commercial, institutional, and industrial water treatment systems. The role works closely with project engineers and the Engineering Manager to develop designs from markups, existing drawings, and project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop 3D models and drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
- Create 2D drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical panel layouts using AutoCAD.
- Support Sales, Procurement, and Manufacturing with design needs.
- Review drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare bills of materials from 3D models.
- Maintain and update the engineering standards drawing library.
- Support product development and other engineering projects as assigned.
Requirements :
- Associate degree in CAD drafting or related field, or 2+ years of 3D CAD design experience.
- Experience with 3D modeling; Inventor preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively through design issues and resolve conflicts.
- Commercial or industrial water treatment equipment experience is a plus.
