Industrial Maintenance Technician

Industrial Maintenance TechJoin our team at Costanzo's Bakery, as an Industrial Maintenance Tech on second shift. We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical and critical thinking capabilities. You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, installing and updating electrical and mechanical systems and components in our high-speed manufacturing environment. This opportunity is on our second shift, with regular hours between 2pm - 12am, Monday - Friday.ResponsibilitiesMaintain electrical equipment such as wiring, switches, switchboards and electrical mechanisms.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues with bakery equipment and machinery.Measure, cut, bend, assemble and install electrical conduits.Install, maintain, and repair a variety of industrial equipment used in commercial bakery manufacturing.Interpret complicated diagrams and schematic drawings and provide direction to others.Solve emergency problems or escalate to supervisor as needed.QualificationsPrior experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred (commercial bread manufacturing highly preferred).Experience as an industrial electrician in a high-speed manufacturing or technical environment preferred.Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, electronic test equipment, single and three phase electrical systems and wiring procedures to 600V required.Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics and parts specifications.Knowledge and some programming of PLCs (Allen Bradley), servo drives and VFDs in a manufacturing environment is preferred.Knowledge and some programming of Yaskawa robotics palletizer is preferred.CompensationThis is a full-time, non-exempt position, with a base rate between $26-40 / hour based on experience and skill sets.
