Monroe NC Truss - 2980 MASON STREET (28110), Monroe, North Carolina, United States of America Job Description Posted Monday, October 13, 2025 at 4:00 AM The Assembler I is an entry‑level position that performs repetitive assembly operations to mass‑produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs. Purpose The Assembler I performs repetitive assembly operations to mass‑produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Places parts in specified relationship to each other. Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together. Cut products to specific measurements as needed. Removes defective products as needed. Tends machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line. Works at different workstations as production needs require. Works in an environment where tasks change as varying models of product are produced. Other duties may be assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Minimum Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. No specific educational or experience requirements. Prior carpentry experience is helpful. Competencies Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions; write simple correspondence; and verbally express information effectively in individual and small group situations. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide; read tape measure. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Continuous standing and use of hands and arms to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Continuous walking. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Continuous lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds; frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception; ability to adjust focus. Continuous exposure to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles. Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
