The Dealerships groupprovides tax, assurance and advisory services to vehicle/heavy truck/equipment/recreational vehicle/etc. dealerships across the country. But our commitment goes beyond our clients as we continue to live the Withum Way, promoting personal and professional growth for all team members, clients, and surrounding communities.  How You’ll Spend Your Time:  Providing supervision, training and support to the engagement staff and promoting open communication to the engagement partnerInspiring, developing, mentoring, and retaining staff while providing challenging assignmentsManaging client projects, including:Reviewing and supervising the preparation of compilation and review level financial statementsEnsuring timely response to client questionsCollaborating cross-functionally with our tax, assurance and accounting, and advisory groups to identify opportunities to fully service the client and their familiesRemaining current on technical and industry developments and standards, while evaluating the potential impact on clients' business and financial positionParticipating in client proposals and identifying new business development opportunities The Kind of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following: Bachelor of Science degree in accounting or a business-related field of studyCPA designation required or an MST (Master of Science in Taxation), a JD, or an LLMThe ideal candidate will be able to combine strong accounting expertise with knowledge of dealership operations and industry-specific regulationsMinimum of 6 years of experience in a CPA firmStrong tax technical background along with a curiosity and willingness to stay current on all key tax law changesExcellent analytical, organizational, project management, and technical skillsExceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationshipsAbility to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environmentStrong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to client’s management The compensation for this position ranges from $140,000-$175,000 annually. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.
