Compensation: $15 hour base pay + bonuses! We are looking for someone who brings energy, initiative, and an interest in fragrance, health and sustainable living. This role is perfect for someone in college or recently graduated! Temple Garni is a local start-up looking for support with marketing and sales every Saturday and Sunday at Coconut Grove Farmers Market. I'll teach you everything I know and I'll provide training as well as support so you will have a lot of fun and enjoy helping me grow Temple Garni with marketing and sales! I always help setup and take down the entire booth. I am able to provide transportation as well! As someone who constantly experienced skin reactions from fragrance, I struggled to find products that felt truly good to wear. Temple Garni began with one simple idea: fragrance should feel good on you & in your spaces. We created candles, perfumes and oils are made with pure soy, coconut, and beeswax, and scented with IFRA-compliant fragrance oils and essential oils. Our body oils use cold-pressed camellia, coconut, abyssinian, and jojobs seed oils, with non-toxic, skin-safe fragrances. Every product is free from phthalates, parabens, endocrine disruptors, and other common irritants. We never use ingredients that trigger sensitivities or compromise on safety. The work environment is collaborative, hands-on, and customer-facing. This is a part-time, on-site role supporting Temple Garni’s presence at the Farmers Market in Coconut Grove. The Marketing Assistant and Sales team member will set up and break down the market stall, arrange products, maintain a clean and inviting display, and ensure all materials are ready each market day. The role includes actively engaging with visitors, explaining products, answering questions, offering samples where applicable and completing sales transactions accurately. The person in this role will represent our brand professionally, manage inventory at the stall, and coordinate with the owner to meet sales and marketing goals. Qualifications Strong Communication skills to engage customers, explain products clearly, and interact effectively with team members. Customer Service skills to provide a welcoming experience, handle questions, and address concerns in a professional manner. Sales and Sales & Marketing skills to promote products, close sales, and support basic onsite marketing activities. Market Research skills to observe customer preferences, gather informal feedback, and share insights with the team. Ability to work on-site in an outdoor market environment, including standing for extended periods and handling light to moderate lifting for setup and breakdown. Reliable, punctual, and organized, with attention to detail in cash handling, product display, and inventory tracking.
