Human Resources Generalist

PrideStaff is hiring a Human Resources Generalist for a full-time, in-office role in Solon, Ohio . This position supports daily people operations, including recruitment activities, employee onboarding, administration of pay and benefits, and ongoing compliance with applicable employment laws. Role Responsibilities Recruit qualified candidates by coordinating interviews and supporting hiring decisions for open roles. Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs. Administer compensation, benefits, and leave programs. Advise on a range of personnel issues. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Required Qualifications At least 1 year of experience (HR-related experience is expected for success in this role). Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving ability. Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail. Ability to operate with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality . Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Experience using a popular HRIS and talent management system . Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Preferred Qualifications At least one year of human resource management experience preferred. SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus. Union experience is a plus.
