CT Technologist

We are hiring several CT Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality images for physician interpretation. The technologist ensures patient safety, follows radiation protection standards, and provides compassionate patient care while maintaining imaging equipment and records. This position plays a vital role in delivering accurate diagnostic imaging services while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established imaging protocols. Prepare and position patients for CT examinations. Explain procedures and answer patient questions to ensure comfort and cooperation. Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently. Review images for quality and completeness before submission to radiologists. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Follow radiation safety principles and infection control procedures. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff. Monitor and maintain CT equipment; report malfunctions as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, facility policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist with departmental quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Qualifications Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R). CT certification preferred or obtained within required timeframe. Current state licensure as required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, anatomy, and radiation safety. Required Skills Proficiency in CT imaging equipment and technology. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer and electronic medical record (EMR) skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, transfer, and position patients safely. Manual dexterity required to operate imaging equipment. Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations. Work Schedule Full-Time 5 days per week 8-hour shifts Occasional overtime, weekends, or on-call coverage may be required based on departmental needs. Compensation is dependent upon experience - up to $61.00/hour
