Job Description

The Forklift Operator safely operates sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts in a fast-paced distribution center environment. This role involves consistent heavy lifting, palletizing, and case selecting throughout the shift to support efficient warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
• Perform material handling tasks including loading, unloading, and moving pallets and product within the warehouse.
• Palletize product and cases accurately and consistently to prepare orders for shipment.
• Complete order picking and case selecting using RF scan guns and other warehouse tools.
• Support shipping and receiving processes, including staging, loading, and unloading trailers.
• Use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment to move materials as needed.
• Handle heavy lifting up to 50 lbs consistently while maintaining proper safety and lifting techniques.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, following all warehouse safety procedures.
• Inspect forklifts and equipment before use and report any issues or safety concerns promptly.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, TX.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
