Ultrasound Technologist *Per Diem* - Providence Imaging Center

Description Position is per diem, 0.01 FTE, day shift, hours as needed. Located onsite at Providence Imaging Center in Anchorage, AK! Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Performs all the essential functions of the Registered Sonographer. Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations. Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment of the patient's condition to determine appropriate testing protocol. Provides a technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation. Preferred Qualifications: 9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Breast, Vascular including clinical rotation. Why Join Providence?
