OT - Occupational Therapist

Location Beachwood, OH Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule / Shift Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per shift. Job Description The Occupational Therapist plans, organizes, develops, administers, directs, and supervises OT treatment in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, regulations, and guidelines. Responsibilities Assess patient functioning levels upon physician orders and implement appropriate treatment plans. Participate in interdisciplinary team processes and discharge planning, including patient/family education. Complete documentation as per departmental policies and provide daily progress notes. Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and OT/COTA students. Display a customer service attitude towards all patients and staff. Promote continuous quality improvement and document quality assurance initiatives. Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a safe work environment. Required Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in Occupational Therapy. Certifications / Licensure Must hold a valid, current State license.
