About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - BLS - ACLS - PALS Description: Looking for a Registered Nurse specializing in Endoscopy. On-call requirements include one weekend a month and one day a week. The unit features 6 procedure rooms and 13 prep/recovery bays. Staffing includes 12 team members with 8 nurses and 4 techs on day shift. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:1 for procedure and 2:1 for prep/recovery. Endoscopy EMR system utilized is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy for both adults and pediatrics. Best personality fit is required for effective team collaboration. Floating areas include IR, PACU, and Day Surgery. Dress code requires royal blue scrubs. Unit guidelines emphasize minimal call-ins, no ear buds, and no personal phone usage during shifts. Weekend and weekday call requirements are applicable.
