Lunds & Byerlys 50th is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing full-time Deli Supervisor to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a full-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $22.50-$29.13.

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 7:00am-10:00pm.

Deli Supervisor Responsibilities

Our Deli Supervisors are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Slicing meats, cheeses, and breads
• Wrapping, weighing, and pricing items accurately
• Stocking, rotating, and staging merchandise to ensure quality and freshness
• Creating a welcoming and safe environment
• Assisting the manager in coaching, training, mentoring, and leading staff to accomplish department and personal goals
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the department

Minimum Qualifications

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent
2. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years' experience in deli or food service leadership; previous supervisory experience desired
3. Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of financial reporting systems and concepts; strong understanding of food preparation and food service operations; strong understanding of retail operations; computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word); ability to obtain Food Safety Certification
