Registered Nurse - Day Shift 3x12-Hour

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a Day Shift schedule, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team for a contract position. In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. You will collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate patient care, ensuring the dignity and safety of patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting any changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Utilize appropriate charting systems for documentation.
• Participate in Rapid Response and Code situations as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of previous charge experience.
• Experience with patient ratios of 5-6.
• Required certifications: BLS, NY State RN License.
• Experience with charting systems is required.
