Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent experience in the specialty License: Registered Nurse license in the state Certifications: - AHA ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA PALS - NIH or Red Cross certifications - TNCC Must-Have: Must be willing to float to other units Description: We are seeking a qualified Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a travel position. The candidate must be willing to work 36 or 48 hours per week. Holiday and every other weekend work is required. Our Emergency Department offers comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups. The team is composed of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. The department treats a high volume of patients annually. The nurse to patient ratio varies from 1:1 for critical and trauma patients to 1:3-4 for all other patients. Candidates should possess an Associate's degree in nursing. Two years of experience is preferred; however, a minimum of 18 months of recent experience working under the highest level of professional license is accepted.
