Senior Full Stack Developer

We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Journey team in Newport Beach, CA. This role is open to hybrid or full remote. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by building and delivering cutting‑edge web solutions to enhance Customer Journey. Responsibilities Design, develop and deliver end‑to‑end solutions to meet business needs and build as per enterprise architecture guidelines. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high‑quality software solutions. Own end‑to‑end feature development, from concept to deployment. Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system stability concerns. Design, develop and maintain end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of software development experience with a minimum of 2 years as a Full Stack Engineer. Proven expertise in building and maintaining web applications using modern frameworks and libraries (Angular, React, TypeScript). Strong proficiency in server‑side languages (Java, Node.js). Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services and serverless computing. Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful/GraphQL API design. Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL). Proficiency with DevSecOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment. Experience with work‑management platforms such as Azure DevOps or similar. Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Works independently with minimal guidance. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Gen AI RAG and MCP patterns. AWS certifications (AWS Certified Developer). Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools. Experience with an integration platform like MuleSoft. Knowledge of best practices in cybersecurity and data protection. Benefits Base Pay Range: $124,830.00 – $152,570.00 (actual compensation depends on experience, qualifications and geographic location).
