Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role License: State RN Licensure Certifications: BLS (AHA), CNOR preferred Must-Have: - Scrub and circulate experience - Experience with Neuro, Da Vinci Robots, total joint, and spine procedures Description: Provides direct and indirect patient care to clinic patients and their families. Utilizes nursing processes of comprehensive patient assessment. Develops and implements nursing care plans and patient education. Conducts ongoing evaluation of patient care. Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in the assigned area. Develops and coordinates an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care. Incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors in care. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their families, and healthcare providers. Communicates effectively and in a timely manner. Skills: Experience with a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to: - Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair - Appendectomy - Laminectomy/discectomy - Coronary Artery Bypass Graft - Total joint replacement - Scrub and assist in various surgical specialties Additional Information: Ability to float if necessary. Collaboration with interdisciplinary team members. Daily census with multiple cases. Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
