Farm Crew Member – Old South Carriage Company Are you passionate about horses and looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic, team-oriented environment? Old South Carriage Company is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Farm Crew ! As part of our team, you'll play a key role in operations by maintaining the health and well-being of our draft horses and additionally transporting them between our scenic 110 acre Farm on Johns Island and the historic stables in downtown Charleston. What You’ll Do: Safely transport horses between our 110-acre farm on Johns Island and our downtown Charleston stables. Maintain and manage our three barns, ensuring a clean and organized environment. Feed, water, and care for our herd, including administering basic healthcare and medications. Groom horses, clean stalls, and prepare draft horses for tours. Assist with daily farm operations, facility maintenance, and small projects. Ensure the overall well-being of our herd while upholding our company’s commitment to excellence. What We’re Looking For: Confidence and experience in caring for draft horses Experience in driving a truck and trailer and the ability to transport horses safely. A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently. Open availability (7 days a week, between 6 AM – 10 PM ). A valid driver’s license with clean driving record. A professional and hospitable attitude Competitive Pay: Starting at $18–$20 per hour , based on experience and role. Full-Time Schedule: 5 shifts per week, with AM and PM shifts available.
