Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience - At least 1 year of recent experience - Postpartum experience License: - California RN license required Certifications: - AHA ACLS - BLS - AWHONN Intermediate - NRPA Must-Have: - Ability to circulate C-sections - Completed references in hand at the time of submission - Previous travel assignment experience - Willingness to work every other weekend - Ability to float to other facilities Description: This role is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. The position requires a California RN license and appropriate certifications. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent experience. Postpartum experience is also required. Responsibilities include the ability to circulate C-sections. The role requires completed references at the time of submission. Candidates must have previous travel assignment experience. Willingness to work every other weekend is necessary. Those who qualify must be willing to float to other facilities as needed. The patient population includes straightforward as well as high acuity patients. The staff will follow established guidelines for safe staffing. Support for interdisciplinary collaboration is part of the unit's operation. Candidates should have experience working in teaching hospitals. Candidates must be knowledgeable about various procedures and patient care protocols.
