Current state license as an Occupational Therapist
Proof of current CPR certification
Current driver's license
Reliable transportation and insurance
Two years experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy
Perform clinical assessments to identify patient needs and appropriateness for care.
Document and revise the Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical records on an ongoing basis.
Assess and facilitate patients' functional mobility and safety issues related to Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Evaluate patient performance in self-care, work, leisure, and rest, addressing sensory-motor, psycho-social, and cognitive components of occupational behavior.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, consulting with physicians and healthcare professionals regarding patient status.
Promote compliance with third-party payers through education and assistance as necessary.
