This role involves working in a dynamic environment on the 6th Floor Tele Unit providing critical patient care. A strong foundation in ICU and stepdown practices is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU/StepDown

• Provide critical care nursing in an ICU/StepDown unit
• Utilize Meditech documentation system efficiently
• Float to other units as needed
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and care

Requirements of the RN - ICU/StepDown

• Active TX RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 2+ years of hospital experience and 2+ years in the specialty
• Preferred experience with Meditech, TELE/PCU/Stepdown
