Admissions Support Staff

Office / Department Office of Institutional Advancement / Admissions Department Reports to Director of Enrollment & Enrollment Associate Job Summary This role supports the admissions office in its execution of events and connection with prospective families. This is a temporary role from September, 2026 - December, 2026. Personal Characteristics Pacifica staff members are persons of deep and mature Christian faith who value and understand the liberal arts within a high school context and can effectively communicate the mission of the school to their students and within their discipline. Pacifica staff exhibit integrity and honor, spiritual depth, exhibit enthusiasm and support for the advancement of the school, understand the various constituencies of Pacifica, communicate with warmth and understanding, work/lead within the various departments and programs, and work collaboratively with the faculty and staff to advance the school’s efforts in achieving its mission. Events Open House September 21: Week-of prep: Mon-Fri 2-4 hrs/day [approx. 10 hours]. Completion of confirmation calls, managing guest list, creation of nametags. Day-of help: 10:30 AM - 5 PM on September 26 [approx. 6 hours]. Assist in event set up of rentals, campus cleanup, registration preparation, and decor placement. November 2: Week-of prep (confirmation calls, nametags): Mon-Fri 2-4 hrs/day [approx. 10 hours]. Completion of confirmation calls, managing guest list, creation of nametags. Day-of help: 10:30 AM - 5 PM on November 9 [approx. 6 hours]. Assist in event set up of rentals, campus cleanup, registration preparation, and decor placement. Student Visit Days Day-of event prep: 10/5, 10/19, 11/2, 11/16, 12/7 (Approx 8 AM - 11:30 AM) [approx. 18 hours]. Assist in event set up, manage check-in & guest attendance, distribute nametags, facilitate guests in alignment with the event agenda. Acceptance Box Preparation Likely one week in December [approx. 10 hours]. Assist in acceptance box assembly, t-shirt folding, merchandise placement, etc. Other duties as assigned Professional Responsibilities Executes all duties in a timely manner Seeks opportunities to promote a collegial, educational environment throughout the campus Maintains communication with parents and responds within 24 hours Sustains cordial, professional relationships with all students, staff, parents, and community members Is a team player and willingly collaborates in the ongoing advancement of the school Abides by the spirit and policies in the Pacifica Employee Handbook Wholeheartedly enjoys working with teenagers, championing their education, and encouraging their faith and Christian commitments. Maintains communication with parents and responds to messages within 24 hours. Holds self directly accountable to their direct report and to the departments they serve, and ultimately the Head of School.
