About the Position

A Radiation Oncology Physician is needed for short- term locum coverage in New York during the week of May 18, 2026 . This opportunity offers a 3- day schedule with no call requirements in a collaborative outpatient oncology setting.

Schedule

• Coverage Needed: Week of May 18, 2026
• Preferred Days: Tuesday – Thursday ( flexible)
• Shift Options:
• 8: 00 AM – 4: 00 PM
• 9: 00 AM – 5: 30 PM
• Call: None

Practice Setting

• Outpatient oncology clinic
• Adult patient population
• Average 10–15 patients per day
• Collaborative care team including NP and LPN support
• Epic EMR system

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage oncology patients receiving radiation therapy
• Develop individualized radiation treatment plans
• Monitor treatment progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Manage treatment- related side effects
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary oncology care team

✔ Requirements

• Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
• Active New York medical license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience
• Epic EMR experience preferred
