Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, installing, and maintaining printing equipment used in the cable manufacturing process. You will work independently with minimal supervision to ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets production needs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot basic electrical or mechanical problems, repair, rebuild, and maintain existing printing machines with minimal assistance.
• Install both new and existing printing equipment with minimal assistance.
• Conduct scheduled, preventative maintenance.
• Observe and listen to operating printing equipment to diagnose malfunctions and determine the need for adjustments or repairs.
• Dismantle, rebuild, and reassemble printers using hand and power tools.
• Set up and troubleshoot printers.
• Perform preventative maintenance on printers.
• Keep an accurate inventory of printer parts needed for repairs.
• Schedule service calls.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of Maintenance Tech experience.
• Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to safely operate all basic power tools.
• Knowledge of applicable safety, health, and environmental requirements.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical/electrical principles/concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with minimal to no supervision.
• Efficient time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail with consistent accuracy.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensenville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
