Job Opportunity: Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) - OTP (Mount Holly)

New Brunswick Counseling Center (NBCC) is a CARF-accredited, nonprofit provider of outpatient substance use and mental health services. We're committed to respectful, high-quality care that supports recovery and wellness in our communities.

About the Role

NBCC is hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to support our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) at our Mount Holly location. This position focuses on safe, patient-centered care during early morning dosing hours (5:45 AM - 12:00 PM).

We're looking for someone who can commit to at least two morning shifts per week and one Saturday shift per month (5:45 AM - 10:00 AM).

Key Responsibilities

Complete nursing assessments for new admissions and readmissions
Provide safe medication administration/dispensing in compliance with NJ and federal OTP regulations
Document medication administration and patient encounters accurately and on time
Monitor for medication side effects/adverse reactions and report concerns promptly
Work closely with the Medical Director on dosing, adjustments, and clinical concerns
Perform on-site TB testing and other screenings as ordered
Monitor patient status and escalate significant changes appropriately
Provide first aid/emergency response when needed
Support and educate staff on patient medical needs
Maintain clear, timely clinical records

Qualifications

Active New Jersey RN license (required)
Able to commit to two weekday morning shifts (5:45 AM - 12:00 PM) each week and one Saturday shift per month (5:45 AM - 10:00 AM).
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
Experience in OTP, MAT, SUD, behavioral health, or similar settings preferred (not required)
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
