The Dock Forklift Driver is responsible for moving, staging, and preparing finished goods for shipment within the warehouse. This position operates a forklift to transport materials, build and secure pallets, and ensure shipments are properly banded, wrapped, and labeled. Key Responsibilities Operate a forklift to transport and stage materials within the warehouse and shipping dock. Move finished goods to designated shipping areas. Band, wrap, and secure pallets for shipment. Apply and verify shipping labels for accuracy. Ensure orders are organized and prepared according to shipping schedules. Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Assist with inventory movements and general warehouse duties as needed. Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required: Previous forklift experience preferred. Experience in warehouse or shipping operations preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Position Qualifications Education HS diploma or equivalent required Experience 1+ years of previous experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred Work Environment and Physical Requirements Production/Manufacturing environment Lift up to 75 lbs. frequently. Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time. Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer.
