StaffBuffalo is working with an established, growing organization in the Buffalo area to hire a talented IT Programmer, offering $80,000–$90,000 annually! This is a full-time, primarily on-site position in Buffalo, NY.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, test, and maintain applications using SQL and C#, ensuring accurate and reliable programming solutions.
• Build and support web services, database integrations, and connections with external vendors and business systems.
• Troubleshoot programming, application, and database issues, independently identifying problems and implementing timely solutions.
• Create and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports, data requests, client reporting, exception reports, and operational reporting, including payment verification, bank verification, and billing accuracy reporting.
• Learn and support the organization's core software platform while contributing to the development and improvement of internal programming practices and procedures.
• Manage multiple programming projects, adapt to changing priorities, and support urgent technical requests while maintaining exceptional data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the IT team and internal departments to support business operations, including occasional hands-on workstation, computer, and phone troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL programming skills required, including database structures, queries, logic, data management, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Strong C# programming experience required, with the ability to independently develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications.
• Minimum of 2+ years of professional programming experience, with demonstrated ability to complete technical projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and time-sensitive requests.
• Experience with web services, database integrations, data processing, and reporting; financial services or collections industry knowledge is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required; degree in IT Programming preferred but not required. Basic RPG/AS400 knowledge is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and database-related software, and the ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
