Lead Java Developer

Our banking client is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Java Full Stack) to join their team. As a Lead Developer, you will be part of the Software Engineering department supporting various projects onshore and offshore teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Lead onshore / offshore Development teams. Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to deliver innovative solutions. Leverage AI and build scalable systems at speed using Java, React, and database technologies, with a background in IAM. What’s Needed? Leadership experience - overseeing an onshore and/or offshore team as either the most senior member or lead the teams is required 5-7+ years of Software Engineering experience. Proficiency in Java, React, and database management. Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems is a HUGE PLUS. Ability to develop scalable systems efficiently and effectively.
