Equipment is used to excavate, load or move dirt, gravel, or other materials. Operator may read and interpret grade and slope stakes and simple plans. Must be able to grease, adjust, and make emergency repairs to equipment.$32.69/hr. plus $10.00 fringe benefits used towards insurance and 401k!See all the fantastic benefits you receive as an employee of EMI below!Key responsibilities include:Read and interpret grade and slope stakes and simple plansGrease, adjust, and make emergency repairs to equipmentTroubleshoot and repair most complex problemsUnderstand blueprints, construction drawings, schematics, and drawings as they pertain to the craftEssential skills include:Ability to operate numerous equipment for the trade i.e. forklifts, scissor/man lifts, bobcat backhoe, loader, scrapers, grader, water truck, etc.Ability to troubleshoot and repair most complex problemsKnowledge of craft theory and craft materials with the ability to apply the theory and select the proper materialsKnowledge of all tools and equipment that are used by the craftAbility to read and understand blueprints, construction drawings, schematics, and diagrams as they pertain to the craftPerform work safely under hazardous conditionsPerform in a rapid and efficient manner under extreme conditionsAdaptable, flexible, and able to adjust to new or changing instructions
