Labor & Delivery RN - Night Shift

Location: Newport, Vermont

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, with flexibility to float to other units.

Job Description: We have two positions available for a Labor & Delivery RN, including Post-Partum and Baby Unit, for the night shift. This position requires the flexibility to float to other units and to care for overflow from the Progressive Care Unit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in the Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Baby Unit.
• Ensure high-quality patient care and support during the labor process.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Float to other units as necessary to meet patient care needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the state of Vermont.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery nursing preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
