You choose. Eight paid hours per shift with a half-hour unpaid meal break (6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM); twelve-hour shifts when available. Any day of the week, no minimum hours. Agency Environment:

A confirmed shift the facility cancels two hours or less before it starts is paid for four hours. With more notice than that, the shift simply comes off your schedule. We pay you to stay and grow.

Your CPR renewal is reimbursed. Continuing education and certifications are supported. Tuition assistance of up to $1,500 a year toward your LPN or RN program if that is where you are headed. Bring a nurse or aide onto the roster and there is a $500 referral bonus for you. Pay lands every week on County-approved time, with no payment holds. Orientation hours are paid at your rate. Fingerprinting, immunizations, screening and license verification are arranged and paid by CLFC, and paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and you are covered by CLFC's professional liability insurance on every shift. CLFC staffs nursing and clinical roles for government healthcare clients across the country, and when a new assignment comes up we go to the nurses already on our roster first. Your file here is your foot in the door to all of it. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting and help at meals. Help residents move safely, with proper body mechanics and lift equipment. Take and record vital signs, intake and output, and weights. Notice and report changes in a resident's condition to the nurse. Keep the resident's environment clean and safe and follow infection control practice. Required Qualifications Current listing in good standing on the New York State Nurse Aide Registry. Current BLS (CPR). Six months of recent CNA experience. Able to complete the New York State Department of Health Criminal History Record Check and a drug screen, and current on the immunizations New York requires for nursing home personnel. Strongly Preferred Qualifications Long term care or skilled nursing experience. Dementia care experience. Availability for nights, weekends or short notice.
