Job Details Location: Desert Cove - Phoenix, AZ 85029 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Master's Degree Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Job Shift: Day Shift Job Category: Behavioral Health/Social Work Schedule Full-Time, Employed – Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends. Role Overview Employee will serve as a Clinician at Terros Health LADDER programs, supervised by the LADDER Site Manager. The position is responsible for providing outpatient counseling services for individuals who have co‑occurring substance use and mental health symptoms. Services include groups, individual counseling, case management, and related duties, some of which support program operations such as preparing and serving lunch, coordinating transportation, covering breaks, and ensuring client care remains the focus. The clinician will be co‑located at both East McDowell Ave and Desert Cove sites, providing services in the office or other designated locations. Clinician Duties Develop therapeutic relationships with clients, in‑home or onsite as required by program/contract guidelines. Participate in treatment planning with each individual and/or family to improve overall health. Utilize appropriate evidence‑based practices to meet the needs of the individual or family. Determine and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions. Seek supervision/consultation as appropriate. Maintain self‑reflection and self‑awareness. Produce treatment plans that translate needs into clear, measurable objectives. Treat clients with respect while adhering to confidentiality guidelines. Comply with Terros Health policies and procedures and professional ethics. Maintain session structure, starting and ending visits in a timely manner. Project a positive, professional image. Meet performance measures related to engagement, successful closures, and referrals to primary care. Ensure clients access primary care at least annually or as directed by the primary‑care physician. Review service deliveries to ensure health outcomes. Collaborate with all treatment team members, keeping clients at the center of care. Actively engage in coordination of client care. Complete administrative responsibilities and documentation same day. Write progress notes reflecting evidence‑based treatment; complete intake paperwork on day of service. Travel between multiple sites to provide services and maintain punctuality. Maintain or obtain Arizona State Certification within one year of hire. Maintain productivity metrics at all times. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other required activities. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Master’s degree (MA, MC, MSW) in a behavioral health field or eligibility for Arizona license. Valid Arizona driver’s license; 21 years of age and minimum three years of driving experience, meeting Terros Health’s driving policy. Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level1) or ability to obtain within seven working days of hire. Pass a TB test. Capability to perform first aid or CPR as necessary. Experience working with diverse populations; bilingual desired but not required.
