Medical Laboratory Technician – Laboratory

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 09:30 - 20:00

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 40
• Contract Length: 15 weeks

Requirements:

• Active Phlebotomist License
• Active Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P) License in the state

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform technical and clerical procedures in Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Bank, and other laboratory areas.
• Collect and analyze patient specimens, ensuring accurate and timely test results.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment while adhering to quality control measures.
• Conduct blood sample analyses and assist in identifying abnormalities in specimens.
• Provide technical information regarding test results to healthcare professionals and staff.
• Participate in laboratory quality improvement programs and maintain a safe laboratory environment.
