Week 1 (41 Total Hours)

• Wednesday: 0700 - 1530
• Thursday: 0700 - 1530
• Friday: 0800 - 1830
• Saturday: 0700 - 1730

Week 2 (38 Total Hours)

• Sunday: 0700 - 1730
• Wednesday: 0700 - 1530
• Thursday: 0700 - 1530
• Friday: 0800 - 1830

Key Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in an acute care hospital setting; peds/neonates experience is strongly preferred.
• Certifications: ARDMS-RDMS (AB, OB-GYN) and BLS (via AHA, ARC, or Military). Pediatric or neonatal neurosonography certifications are a plus. [1, 2]

Job Duties & Skills

• Procedures: Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under physician supervision to assist in diagnosing patients across the age continuum.
• Technology: Utilize Phillips ultrasound machines and the Epic EMR system.
• Soft Skills: Requires critical thinking, independent problem-solving, and the ability to handle crucial conversations. 

Schedule & Float Details

• Work Environment: You will always be paired with another clinician.
• On-Call: Typically includes call duties every 5th weekend and one weekday evening.
• Float Requirements: Must be able to float between four locations, specifically including the West and East campuses.
