3-5 years Experience in role. Responsible for maintaining and modifying existing technical manuals. May participate in the writing of new operation and maintenance manuals, online web-based documents and technical publications. Organizes and analyzes source materials such as design and test specifications, design diagrams, and schematics. Completes tasks with input from Technical Writing Team Lead. Work is project-oriented and actual tasks must be defined by employee. Understands company goals and practices and applies them when resolving a variety of problems. Receives only general instructions on new work. Uses judgment and creativity and sound technical knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions. May interface with senior management and end Cusotmers to convey information. BS and 4 + years or equivalent. Competencies: 1)Ability to understand and articulate the Eaton's technical requirements and translate their requirements into technical documentation 2)Excellent written communication skills in relation to technical documentation Makes a commitment to ensure that a customer s needs are met by taking personal responsibility for service and quality. Appreciates that how each customer views satisfaction may vary depending upon their specific needs. To the extent that it is reasonable, goes the extra mile to make sure that each individual s needs are met. Follows up to monitor satisfaction and responds to additional requests or problems quickly. Tailors the information to appeal to the level and interest of others/prepares for others questions or reactions. Provides constructive feedback to the team, suggesting actions to improve individual and team performance. -
