What You’ll Do: Manage end‑to‑end billing and collections for high‑value, complex accounts. Prepare and submit clean claims for hospital and professional services. Resolve denials, submit appeals, and secure payment across government and commercial payors. Collaborate with financial coordinators, authorization teams, and clinical staff to ensure accurate billing and compliance. Minimum Qualifications: Three (3+) years of hospital billing and collections experience (acute care preferred). Strong knowledge of insurance billing rules, UB‑04, revenue codes, and coding principles (ICD‑10, CPT, HCPCS). Experience with Epic or similar billing systems. Ability to analyze accounts, resolve issues, and communicate effectively with payors. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in billing/coding (CPC, CPB, HB). Prior experience with transplant or complex case billing. Familiarity with payer agreements and bundled payment structures. Special Conditions: Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre‑employment physical. Pay Transparency Act: Annual Full Pay Range: $61,116 - $75,982 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%). Hourly Equivalent: $29.27 - $36.39.
