Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity to support elementary students as a Special Education Teacher in a resource capacity. The assignment runs from late August through early June, following the school year, and involves a consistent weekday schedule.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota teaching certification in Special Education (required; must be included with resume to be considered)
• Demonstrated experience working with elementary-age students, preferably in a resource or inclusion setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families
• Organizational ability to manage caseloads and documentation in a timely manner
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and resource support to elementary students with varying abilities
• Develop, implement, and regularly review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with district policies
• Engage with families to provide updates and support student success both in and out of the classroom
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and school initiatives as needed
