Job Location: MCA - Memorial City Main - Houston, TX 77024 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Associates Degree Job Category: Other Positions Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates is adding to the team and in search of a Full Time Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist in Katy, TX. This position will accommodate the new PET suite located at our Memorial City office location. Duties and Responsibilities Explains procedure to patients to assure cooperation and optimum test result Prepares stock solutions of radiopharmaceutical materials, calculates doses, and administers doses under direction of Physician Performs diagnostic exams including Cardiac PET studies on patients as prescribed by physician, including treadmill supervision and starting IVs Measures radioactivity using Geiger counters, scalers and scintillation detectors Follows radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials Maintains quality control of all equipment Safeguards the privacy of patient health information Attends required meetings Performs related work as required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills Must be experienced and work independently in a very busy private cardiology practice setting Requirements Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology Must be registered with ARRT or NMTCB 2 years of experience is preferred in Spect and PET BLS/CPR Certification Schedule Details Full‑time, employee status with benefits package 4–10‑hour shifts with a rotation on Saturdays Contact Wendy Parker at View email address on click.appcast.io or via cell at View phone number on click.appcast.io. #J-18808-Ljbffr
