Corporate Marketing & Communications Director

As our marketing and communications areas continue to grow, we're in search of a Corporate Marketing & Communications Director who can roll up their sleeves and execute. This newly created role requires a hands-on, execution-focused individual who will be reporting to our leadership team. What You'll Do Advise and consult on brand, communication and reputation strategies Manage and maintain our corporate website, intranet and social media platforms (e.g., posting, scheduling, keeping content current) Draft, design and edit content across a wide range of formats targeting internal and external audiences (e.g., press releases, client-facing materials, ghost‑writing for industry publications, newsletter articles, social media posts, email campaigns, talent acquisition materials, presentations and event invitations) Draft and design internal enterprise‑wide communications and announcements, ensuring messaging is aligned with the firm’s vision and mission statements Review and proofread marketing and communication materials for accuracy, tone, and consistency Support compliance review process to ensure materials meet financial services marketing, advertising and communication requirements Keep marketing projects moving, communication calendars organized and updated (e.g. tracking deadlines, managing requests queues, outside vendors, etc.) What We’re Looking For Required: Bachelor’s degree (Liberal Arts, Business, Marketing, Communications) and/or four years of equivalent experience in marketing/communications roles Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills Demonstrated experience using social media platforms and digital tools Aptitude to take rough concepts or leadership directives and turn them into polished, on‑brand, compliance‑ready marketing/communication materials Ability to shift tone and message across different audiences: talent acquisition, client‑facing trust‑building, and internal firm communications Strong organizational skills; comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines at once Preferred: Experience in financial services, insurance, or other professional relationship‑driven trust‑based industry Familiarity with FINRA/SEC marketing and advertising communications compliance requirements Graphic design skills a plus Why This Role You’ll have real ownership over the brand, reputation and communications that represent our firm to advisors, clients, career candidates, and our associates, with real opportunity to bring your own ideas to how we tell that story.
